Arrivo Privacy Policy
Arrivo (“the App”) is a local proximity reminder for iPhone. It alerts you when you are near a destination you choose. This policy explains what information is processed and how.
1. Summary
- No account is required.
- We do not operate a backend that receives your location or destinations.
- We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking (no ATT / IDFA).
- Location and destinations are processed on your device to calculate distance and trigger local alerts.
2. Data processed on your device
Depending on permissions you grant, the App may process:
- Location — to show the map, search nearby places, monitor distance to your destination while a reminder session is active, and update Live Activities.
- Destinations & preferences — names, coordinates, alert distance, sound/vibration settings, recent places, and optional saved places, stored locally (SwiftData / UserDefaults / App Group).
- Notifications — local notifications and optional spoken alerts generated on device.
When you stop monitoring or a reminder completes, active background location monitoring for that session ends.
3. Apple services
Map search and map tiles use Apple MapKit. Queries and map usage may be processed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Arrivo does not receive those queries on a developer server.
4. Permissions
- Location (When In Use / Always) — Always access is recommended so monitoring can continue when the screen is locked. You can change this in iOS Settings.
- Notifications — required to deliver arrival alerts.
- Background Location — used only while a reminder session is active.
5. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data retention & deletion
Data stays on your device. Uninstalling the App removes local App data (subject to iOS behavior). You can also clear recent history and saved places inside the App where available.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.

Arrivo 是一款在 iPhone 上运行的「接近目的地提醒」应用。本政策说明相关信息如何被处理。

- 无需注册账号。
- 开发者不运营接收您位置或目的地的自有服务器。
- 不使用广告、分析或追踪 SDK（无 ATT / IDFA）。
- 位置与目的地默认仅在本机用于计算距离与触发本地提醒。
本机处理的数据
- 位置：地图、搜索、监测会话中的距离判断、锁屏实时活动等。
- 目的地与偏好：存储于本机（SwiftData / UserDefaults / App Group）。
- 通知：本机生成的本地通知与可选语音播报。
停止监测或提醒完成后，该会话的后台定位监测会结束。
Apple 服务
地图与地点搜索使用 Apple MapKit，相关处理适用 Apple 的隐私政策；Arrivo 开发者服务器不会接收这些查询。
权限
定位（使用期间 / 始终）、通知、后台定位。建议在监测时开启「始终」定位，以便锁屏后仍可靠提醒。可在系统设置中随时更改。
